Born in 1994, DaKidRiz first appeared on the rap scene in 2014 when he published his first song on SoundCloud titled “Ohio.” The Canton native then released his first official single titled “I Ain’t Got No Choice” in 2015 as he continued to hone his skills as a hip-hop artist. 

In 2017, Riz was fortunate enough to connect with manager Kara Tavers as he released his first LP titled Claim the Crown. Tavers took a liking to Riz as she noticed his ambition to create during a late night studio session. She began to manage Riz and he credits her for inspiring him to create and venture out, ultimately finding himself musically. 

In 2018 Riz signed with Frequency Music Group with the hopes that it can elevate his music to a level that can change the game. Riz’s music can be found on music streaming sites like Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Tidal and iHeartRadio.
